So my parents have been a customer of theirs for years now. This firm used to be owned by someone else and then John took over or something, but when I went on my own insurance I stuck with John and his team.

I went on my own policy when turning 26 or whatever and worked with John and his team to do this. This went smooth, then when I moved out I purchased my renters policy through John as well. This is when the service took a steep decline.

So after about 1.5 yrs of living in this apartment, we found mold everywhere. This mold ruined multiple pieces of furniture, let alone left me sick for weeks. I called John, this was not covered under my policy. Not the furniture, no rent assistance while we find a new place, no hotel coverage while we find a new place. No support at all.

OK whatever, I move on, find a new place to live in, get a new renters policy with John and his team.

Then I go to check my insurance cards through the app, and notice the address stated is my parents. At this point I have had renters policies for 3 years, so I am calling to get this corrected. Still confused as to why this was not accurate before. Well all of the sudden when my address is updated, my policy increases $$. Even though nothing else changed. No additional services, no additional coverage. Just correcting my address that they input incorrectly.

I tried to fight this increase stating that you all literally did my rental policies? Why was this not caught then?
John quite literally stated, "I do not understand why you are complaining. You saved $50 this year"
I am complaining because this agencies attention to detail is shit. If they cannot get a simple address right (of a policy they created with me) then what else is not correct I started reviewing and my age was listed incorrectly.

These are such simple things to get wrong, so my trust with John and this agency is completely ruined.

Steer clear of this agency. Horrible customer service, and business practice. I was a customer for over twenty years never once filed a claim mind you. cancelled because of Allstate's soaring rates. Always paid electronically, 2 months after I cancelled get a notice from a collection agency saying I owe money. This Allstate office never reached out to me about this just sent it to collections. Deceptive business practices. Like I say..STEER CLEAR.

Have had nothing but great experiences with Eddie and everyone at John’s Allstate Agency. They helped me out and as a result, we cancelled all of our policies thru the AARP Hartford Program. I spent 44 years in the insurance brokerage business and these people are highly recommended. Bob

If your thinking about using this place for insurance make sure they go over your policy with you before it’s processed.

In June and Agent called me to offer Motor vehicle and renters insurance. The agent gave me a rate of 160$ a month for auto insurance and 11$ for renters. I agreed to become a customer and cancel my other insurance ( that i now owe) so after 2 month goes by i started seeing my auto insurance went up to 206$ so i called to inquire. The agent told me when he initially did my coverage he put Auto insurance, renters insurance and home insurance and that’s why my coverage was Increase. I didn’t provide documents that i have a home and that’s what gave me the discount. I told him “This was not my fault he did this, he should have checked over his worked and even questioning why i needed renters and home insurance for the same location. I should have to pay for his mistake. The word sorry will not compensate for the hundreds i will pay.I feel he was just trying to sell coverage by any means. So i called to speak to the owner they said he was out of the office for the holiday. They would have him to contact me when he returns we’ll how many months later he must still be out of the office Because he never return my call but had to audacity to send this survey.. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR BUYING BECAUSE YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH PAYING AND ALLSTATE CUSTOMER CARE DOES NOT HELP... Dec i will end my coverage with them because of their dishonesty and unprofessional

Run away from this place. They do not offer any customer support and exist on computer generated emails only. They do not return calls or answer emails when you have a concern. Drew will try to weasel out of giving you a definitive answer to your concern. Horrible place!

From the first call and meeting at their office in Carol Stream on North Ave I was immediately comfortable with the idea that Enza their office manager had everything set. I knew Allstate was solid but you just never when you are switching insurance companies. I have been unpleasantly surprised by State Farm agent's staff screwing up my info when switching agents after a move or when one retired.
Ever since I have been with John Bucaro's office all my questions get answered with a call back the same day. Their rates are competitive and service is the best so definitely give them a try.

This is the absolute worst insurance company! We have been with Allstate for over 20 years and recently filed a claim because of hail damage. We had our contractor come out twice and the outcome is still not resolved the reimbursement for the damages is unacceptable, our contractor agrees. Every house around us are getting new roofs, siding etc.. I hear it every day! We are getting a reimbursement for a couple of shingles and pieces of siding. This is so disheartening we have been customers for so long and have never filed a claim. This is just not right.

I can easily reach a human at my local branch office. They care!
I feel like they're personally interested in answering my questions, saving me money, and responding promptly! Bravo Allstate and the John Bucaro team!
