I had used Trunnell for many years. They provide superb service, are swift to answer any of my questions, and compare rates for many providers. Unfortunately, my car insurance premiums have gone through the roof over the last couple years. I had believed that it was simply due to the shift in the broader market, which seems to be affecting everyone. However, I recently shopped around myself and was able to find similar levels of coverage for a far, far lower cost than what was offered by any of the providers through Trunnell. I don't know why Trunnell's providers were charging me so much more as there have been no bad marks on my record throughout this skyrocket in premiums. So if you are looking for a broker that provides swift communication and does the heavy lifting for you, I can't recommend them more. But I would absolutely shop around on your own first so you can compare. I am disappointed that they weren't able to offer anything anywhere close to what I found on my own. Now I'm left wondering how long I've really been overpaying...
