I needed to stop a payment and, while I was told I would need to do that online, I asked if someone could walk me through it. Richard was so helpful. He not only walked me through the process but also explained it so that I would be able to manage it if the need arose again. A helpful teacher at a teacher’s credit union; how appropriate. I am so thankful for such a responsive, supportive staff.

Horrible customer service, specifically Alex at the Elgin branch. They will lie and deceive you, then say you didn't ask the right questions when confronted. So many issues banking with them. Closed my account after years.

Rude Management. Manager came by to assist and told agent not to accept post dated check. They took a post dated check for my last deposit. I was not acknowledged by manager she completely ignored me. No apologies or kindness to found. Rethinking my banking choice.

After the holidays I was hit with multiple fees over a 24 hour period just so they could make money off me. I called to see if anything could be done to maybe pay a bit less in just fee charges and they were unhelpful and uncaring. This credit union ended up taking nearly $100 from my account just in fees which makes them worse than actual banks. Many credit unions don't charge outrageous fees and charges. Because fees and charges aren't necessary and because they strive to be there for the community and their people. Even Wells Fargo offers a grace period to avoid charging you fees. KCT does not.

I have been with this bank ever since I came to the USA, which was 1999. Never attempted to look or change to another bank. I feel safe and I trust them, excellent customer service, car loan rate is great. Easy to contact and talk to them. If you are looking for a true and trusted bank, it is KCTCU!!! I love this bank! highly recommended.

What a phenomenal experience, bought a car recently and with rates so high I decided to look into financing at credit unions. KCT is local and provides the high touch care that we were looking for after banking with CHASE for several years if not decades. After this experience we will eventually switch all of our banking to KCT. Btw, ask for Richard Cheney, he’s the best and brings a detailed and unmatched professional touch. Just a great overall experience and looking forward to stopping by just to get a cup of coffee and enjoy a good conversation with the Richard. Thx KCT
