What can I say about Shawn and the people that work for him. Even as I am writing this I am preparing my tax information for the current year.

I came to Shawn Lazarian this past summer with a lot of tax issues and it looked like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. He was very patient and understanding and walked me through each year that i was being questioned about.

I was stressed and like everyone else in my situation I just assumed would, at the end, have a huge tax liability. In the end not only did I not owe, but he was able to get me a refund. He satisfied all my tax liability that I had and got me current on all my taxes.

Shawn you were a life saver and I will never forget how you helped me and how courteous and patient you and your staff were with me.

Absolutely horrendous experience from the firm.
A money gouging CPA firm bent upon charging clients for advice that’s found on IRS website.When I refused to pay for their “ancillary services” aka tax advice they realized the gravy train had dried up and refused to do my taxes.

To add insult to injury,refused to give me details about my quarterly payments they supposedly made to the IRS,which according to a letter from the IRS was made late!

Avoid at all cost.This is firm that’s shady and unprofessional.Plenty of other CPA’s nearby who don’t charge a “consultation fee” for initial interview which should have been the first warning!

Would give them zero stars if I could.

I have been going to Lazarian Financial Corp to complete my taxes for a couple years now. I have been nothing but pleased with the quality and personal services received. Shawn is a highly skilled and experienced CPA. In fact, I have recommended his services to others and even switched over family members to have their taxes completed there. Regarding a specific tax situation at hand, I went to two other CPAs before I presented the very complex tax issue at hand to Lazarian Financial Corp., CPA's. The first, told me there is no remedy to solve the tax issue. The second, told me they are not adept to taking on the tax matter. Then I presented the issue to the Lazarian team. They were able to take on the very complex tax matter, and moreover, remedied the tax issue at hand. The Lazarian team was skillful, experienced, responsive, and provided diligent guidance throughout the process.

The communication with their customers is horrible. Multiple phone calls and emails and never get a response. They will surely call you when they want their payment though. Outside of that. If I have to call the IRS myself. Do not see the point in continuing with Lazarian next year.
