I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with this company’s 401(k) distribution process. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into a frustrating, time-consuming ordeal filled with misinformation, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability.

I initially called on March 10 after receiving letters about my 401(k) accounts, as I needed the funds due to financial hardships. I was told I would receive the money by the following Monday. That day came and went, and nothing was deposited. Then, on March 15, I received two emails hours apart stating they needed additional information, including my Social Security card. I called to understand why, provided everything they asked for, and was reassured that my funds would be available by Friday.

On March 19, I was informed via email that they couldn’t process a direct deposit because my bank supposedly didn’t meet their requirements—something that was never mentioned before. Instead, they said they would mail a paper check. I had to call again, repeating my situation to multiple representatives before finally reaching a manager, who assured me I would still receive my funds by Friday and promised to call me with an update. That call never came.

By Friday, March 21st, after spending hours on the phone throughout the week, I was understandably frustrated. I called again, only to receive no real answers. Today, March 21st —the day I was told I would have my funds—I called to request a tracking number, only to be told the check hadn’t even been processed yet.

After speaking with multiple representatives, spending hours on hold, and being reassured time and time again only to be outright misled, I have lost all trust in this company. The lack of communication, follow-through, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. If you’re considering doing business with them, be warned—customer service is unreliable, and you may not receive what you’re promised.

Sidenote, I offered to drive down to Oak Brook, Illinois, to collect the check. where I was told the check would be coming from. Then five minutes later they were telling me that no the checks aren’t coming from Oak Brook Illinois. They are coming from a place out of Texas because the building in Oak brook Illinois, is under remodeling. Earlier today, I received a notification with my tracking number for the checks being mailed to me and they’re coming from Oak Brook Illinois where I was told they wouldn’t be coming from so that was another lie.

I requested a withdrawal but apparently did it incorrectly. And then the processors also made a mistake. I'm finally receiving my check but it's been a long process. All I can say is that Amber R is truly amazing. She goes above and beyond to help and she's polite and professional as well! I have mixed feelings on Inspira (and their glitchy website) after this experience, but Amber deserves 50 stars!! Great work and amazing customer care.

I called into customer support since a Fidelity retirement account from a former job had been closed and rolled over into Inspira Financial. Mia helped me and was wonderful. She explained to me where my money had been transferred, patiently helped me make a new account on the online portal with her on the phone, and explained to me my different options for what to do with my prior retirement account funds, including the differences between 401k, IRA, and Roth options. Mia gave excellent customer service. Thank you.

I have been on the phone with this company for over an hour. Prior to that the automated line kept hanging up on me for 30 minutes. Not exaggerating. 6 claims were denied after providing itemized receipts within the coverage period. I haven’t even been able to get to that point with the representative because although they just sent me a new debit card, now they “can’t verify me”. I have provided claim numbers, SSN, address.

This is UNCONSCIONABLE. It truly feels deliberate to frustrate contributors and have them give up on their claims. This system needs to be audited and employees re-trained.

I don’t have the patience right now to truly verbalize how wild this phone call was. I would like someone to reach out to me ASAP.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Laurie T take great care of me over the phone. She embodies true patience and service! She is attentive and can turn a tedious task into a delight with her company. I am having a little boy in two short weeks and was completely overcome by baby brain and just couldn’t get things right on my own! She was so informative and touched my heart with her comforting expression even through the phone! I hope Mrs. Laurie T. Is acknowledged and awarded in the workplace on her customer interactions. She doesn’t meet the standards, she exceeds them!
