After years of underwhelming service and lack of support from Rich and his associates (especially when something happened and we needed to actually use our policy), we were finally kicked off our most recent provider and Realy couldn't find us a new company to insure us. Frustrated, we went to a new company and got a better rate AND better coverage. One last thing remained, the worker's compensation program was still active. We wrote up all the necessary documents and signed them a week ahead of the time for renewal. Rich was basically unavailable...every phone call I had went unanswered. Eventually they made contact with us. He insisted everything was done. I asked for confirmation from the company holding the policy to which the response was....crickets. A couple months later I got a message from our "old" W.C. company saying our policy was renewed and the initial deposit was debited from my bank. Indeed it had been. Back and forth, we were told only the issuing agency can cancel the policy. When I emailed him upset that it was not cancelled yet, Rich was very defensive and rude about this process now. He insisted he does his job and that I was just not appreciative of his efforts ever. He called me names and said I was arrogant. After getting to a higher level of management at the W.C. company, we found out that Rich had indeed sent the paperwork over....the same day we were having the conversation. So in fact even while claiming he was just waiting for confirmation, he never sent over the paperwork until backed into a corner then refused to admit his mistake. For years we gave him the benefit of the doubt. For years we just trusted that this is how insurance is done. It's not. My experience has taught me this company and its associates are the bottom rung of the insurance providers. If you choose this agency, just know you're choosing one with the least amount of integrity and accountability. Truly deplorable business practices and honestly even just as a person...I cannot fathom how someone can act like this; neither professionally or personally.

Bob Ptaszek and Kelli Delporte are fantastic agents. They both go above and beyond for their clients and have provided invaluable information throughout the process. I have insured properties for over 30 years and never, ever, received a breakdown of what is simply paid for to have a policy vs what is necessary coverage for replacement and ability to move on with full restoration when a property is compromised.

I’m always amazed when I think I know the answer to an issue and someone takes the time to redirect t me…..and then they’re absolutely correct! Bob Ptaszek is one of those people. I have followed him thru his career to his current commitment to Realy Insurance and have continued to appreciate his direct, and specific approach to the tangled mess of insurance. Five stars is just not enough from this customer of 15 years .

I don’t understand how this company can just overlook a client. First we did not get a bill for our car insurance so we called. Then we got it just in time. But we did not get the policy with the proof of insurance cards so we called again and they gave us the ability to print them. Then the bank said they did not get a bill for homeowners insurance. We called Realy and they said they would take care of it. But they didn’t. We got another warning from the bank and then we got a bill from Realy. How could they mess up four times on one customer. How many other customers fell off their radar. Just us?.

Bob Ptasek is my broker .
Can’t say enough about the service he provides for me . He is a wealth of information; responds quickly to my requests ; explains clearly some difficult to understand insurance lingo, and I never feel pressured to increase my insurance package.
