No one in line, 4 employeese behind the counter. Now, they say yoy cant donate unless you hav3 an appointment. So i say, well im here so lets make an appointnent. They say, we will this time but next time you have to make an appointment. So they schedule me for 45min. Later. I have and seat and lo and behold: they just continue to play.

I been trying to donate thought this company two times I drove there from where live it 40 minutes to get there ! Both times there nurse was very rude about my medicine I am on an she told me the doctor didn't fell out the paper right they wanted from doctor even though she told me it's only about Subbox ! But nope it was to do with all the other medications I am on ! I just wish he would be more upfront about everything she needed and treated me like I was on drugs I was very confused by her actions

Really wish someone else would take over this facility. They are very rude to donors! They don’t stick people properly which causes them to bruise and then they are mean when they tell them they can’t come back to donate. Seems like they don’t want to pay half the time either.

Everyone was so nice. I had a dizzy episode and the staff treated me with such kindness and compassion. The staff member that was responsible for my donation treated me like a friend, so I felt comfortable letting him know that I didn’t feel right. The front desk staff was wonderful as well. It was nice to hear them chatting and laughing, it made me comfortable and feel relaxed.

Easily one of the most horribly-run establishments in Carbondale. It is commonplace to be waiting for 30 minutes to an hour and a half just to be told that you wasted your time and to come back tomorrow -- half the time for something they could have made clear somewhere before you'd even been there for 5 minutes. One time, I was told only after I'd been there for a significant amount of time that apparently I was due for a physical, and that they stopped doing those 45 minutes ago. My friend spent close to two hours there just to be told he was intelligible to donate plasma due to him taking a medication that they had not even listed as a flag on any of the medication warnings they give beforehand. This isn't even to mention that a lot of the doctors there haven't been given any kind of guidance on how to stick somebody in a painless manner.

It's especially infuriating because none of this is the fault of the employees (although it is admittedly kind of frustrating, no matter how friendly they are, to see employees bantering and hanging out while people that they're being paid to attend to are stuck waiting around). It's so clearly an issue with management and how everything is run there. Due to that, it's also unlikely things are ever going to get fixed. A lot of people depend on this for income. Hell, I'm especially infuriated knowing that even with all of what I'm saying, I'm still gonna be back at some point. They're going to have people coming in no matter how terrible things are, and it's clear that they don't see any reason to actually make things better.

I don't like this place. If you don't need to, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
