Good coverage but the customer service is the real gem. Fairly efficient phone tree to navigate and got to the right person quickly. Scott s has helped us twice from the customer service perspective. Very clearly explained all the information we needed and helped us to the full extent he could. Extremely happy with his service quality.

An absolutely deplorable experience. After receiving several letters from this company attempting to scare me into coverage with them, I finally called to opt out thinking this would be a simple process. I was wrong. Not only did the representative that I spoke to NOT simply agree to opt me out, she went into her sales spiel, asked me for the information and continued to sell me their warranty informing me that my vehicle was out of warranty.

I then requested AGAIN to be opted out and inform her that I did not want to be on their list, or purchase their coverage. She inquired again about my current coverage and followed with warnings about my vehicle not being covered. I then informed her that it was illegal for her to continue to sales harass me when I was asking to be opted out. She replied with "I am required to get the reason for your opt out or I will get in trouble." I reminded her that, that is illegal and a customer never has to give a reason to opt out nor does a company have a right to require an answer to proceed with one.

She continued to be rude and try to question me on my current vehicle status. She FINALLY said that she had taken me off the list and I tried to hang up. She was STILL trying to talk to me about their services when I had to hang up on her because she refused to stop talking. Absolutely horrible business practices and illegal in terms of customer data privacy. Even if I were interested, I would never do business with this company for this reason alone. I do hope your executive team listens to this phone call and trains your team better. This is unacceptable.

The guy John Brendel made things really easy for me helping me get a lower cost. I’m grateful to have spoke with him so I can continue my service with them. He even said the company I was about to change to he don’t mind partnering with them to pay the expenses. All I can say is thank you John for being a great guy to understand.

I would honestly give 0 stars. They are extremely unprofessional. For starters, I reached out to Athena Protection and they picked up my call instead without announcing themselves. I paid them... no email receipt or confirmation so l called about 3 hours after checking spam folder and they were extremely rude. I bought it today, I would cancel today if customer service was open but l'll be up at 8am Monday or else cancelling my card. Every time I called Athena back there was no trace of my calls to set up said account when Andrew said he was able to find my case number. Becky admitted they take their calls when they don't answer which doesn't make sense to me when Athena Protection denied that.

I have had and used Protection Direct for OVER 15 years. They actually recommended the mechanic ( Aamco) I use because they accept their warranty. My mechanic does excellent work and they work hand in hand with Protection Direct. I have literally saved “thousands” of dollars in repair bills by having and using Protection Direct!!! Thank you so very much.

I had a very productive conversation with the rep that I talked with and when it was all said and done I bought into the coverage for two of my vehicles, the coverages made me drop what I did have and hope what was said is true.

When I called to see what Protection Direct could offer me the person I first talked to was very helpful. When he heard I was on fixed budget, he transfered me to finance and with Jessica helps I was able to sign up for the warranty with Protection Direct.
