Best of the best!! My wife and I live in San Diego County and we don’t mind the drive up to see Leo. He’s been our tax guy since 2018!! Always so informative and helpful with any questions we have. We have recommended multiple people and we’ll continue to do so!

I don't like leaving negative comments, especially for small businesses, but this is egregious and needs to be shared. His communication is horrible. I sent several emails asking an important question about my taxes, and he never responded. I know his email works because we have corresponded that way in the past. I feel like he just collected $300 for his services and wrote me off. Now I feel like I am on my own if the IRS ever decides to audit me. Next year I will find someone else (or simply use an online service... at least they respond to communications).

I recently move to San Marcos, and had to look for a new tax preparer and came across Leo's tax business. I gotta admit, I am extremely happy and impressed with the tax services I received from Leo. Leo went above and beyond to file my taxes. He first explained to me every step of the way, and educated me also on my tax filing process. Which is very important for me because I always want to know exactly what I am getting refunded and tax for. He answered all my questions, and made sure I got the most out of my tax refund. He was very professional, patient, and nice. Apart from his professionalism, Leo has a great personality, and really shows empathy, respect, and care for all his clients. He also charged me a very reasonable price, and went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Leo for anyone needing to their taxes, payroll, or any type of similar services done. My first time experience. I went in there with my husband and 2 small children and he was helping out some clients and told us to wait for a bit in his waiting place. My appointment was at 4pm and we waited for 1 hour. Kids are impatient so I asked my husband to go ask him how long more and his response with an attitude was I have clients I cant kick them out. Ok we understand that part what we asked was how long so we decide to either go home and come back, keep waiting or come back another day but instead he says I cant tell you how long. I cant just be there waiting unknown time when I also need to go to work, have things to do and have impatient children with me. For that experience I rate it 1 star.
