Amazing people - place was a blessing:) Unfortunately they had to shut down,because they lost their lease (August2023). Please call them asap to donate; or if you know of a nearby location - so they can re-start the food pantry services:)

The female manager at this place is terrible. She seems to have an attitude. She is negative and also gossips about people who go there to get food.

This is a really nice place to go.
CLEAN AND ORGANIZE.
Just bring your ID along for the first time, and they'll give you a laminate card for next time. You can get FREE food twice a month, and believe me, the amount of food is fantastic.
The volunteer people are nice and kind, I went there with my 2 kids, and one of the staff members gave them a goodie bag 🙂 My kids were beyond happy.

There for the food pantry. Very discourage. Being a food shelf giving away food that is beyond its shelf life is not the way to feed people in need... then again, not everyone there is in need of help either.

Thanks so much . Grocery costs are sky rocketing.
Its hard for me to stand in line for 90 minutes. So when I get home I do have something to fix for a meal. Bless U

Another great church-sponsored food pantry for needed in Hayward area offering free can foods, packaged foods and vegies every morning during weekdays. It just started new ID processing including filling up new form, taking pictures and printing/laminating the new ID all in 3 minutes! And it's all run by volunteers! Hat off to them!
