It has been over a year since I've submitted a request for reimbursement for medical services to this company. After many phone calls over the course of several months, I still have yet to receive a check from them.

At first, they couldn't get our correct mailing address. Once I gave them the correct address, they stated that they would send the check in approximately 45 business days. I called them again 2 months later as I still did not receive the check. Despite them having the correct mailing address in their system, they did not even start the process of sending the check due to internal issues on their end. After every phone call, they say that they will fix the issue & will send the check in 10 business days, & after 10 business days, the check is not even in the process of being sent.

I've dealt with other insurance companies before, & this is the worst experience by far. Hopefully, others will not have to go through a similar experience.

UPDATE 2-3 WEEKS AFTER THE ABOVE REVIEW:

I finally received the check last week after all the trouble I have been through. Needless to say, I am reluctant to work with this insurance company again.

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to ask your insurance company for the Medical Certificate of Coverage to be mailed to you and have your request flat out ignored! Multiple times! They Never provided it to me nor explained why. They also refused to cover a procedure needed for my chronic back condition that was Cleary needed so I could return to a condition of less pain and return to work after being out of work for 7 months. I have reconsidered my repeat for this company and will not return for the poor coverage and High premiums and Huge deductible. Hasta la vista!
