Got an International Driving Permit here, including passport photos. The whole procedure only took 30minutes and I left with the permit. Absolutely no complaints.

They offer passport photos for $20, unless you’re a member - then they may be free. The international driving permit was an additional $20.

I wanted to get a handicap placard for an elderly parent and was told to pay money and forced to put a non driving parent to my membership. I refused to do so. I went to the AAA office in Gellert and was not extorted. They gave us our handicap placard without having to pay any money. Stay away from Jeannie the front desk person. She needs to fulfill her quota of sales.

Jasmine had been my agent for over ten years. She is helpful and knowledgeable. She is the best agent and because of that, I have referred lots of friends and family to AAA. Whenever I needed help or had insurance question, she was always get me back and answers in a timely manner.
I also noticed there aren’t any Chinese speaking agents at SF Lakeshore office. There were 3 or more a few years ago and then it was down to 1, Jasmine ONLY. Till lately, I was told she is no longer with AAA and no more Chinese speaking agent when I needed a quote. What’s wrong with AAA? I don’t believe that Jasmine would retire early as I’ve known her for years, and she never brought up any retirement plans. Then I heard that she was terminated by the AAA. She was the top, best, helpful agent. Her work should be recognized and honored. I also feel that AAA is discriminating against Chinese. From 3 or more to ZERO. There are only TWO White American agents.
Whatever happened to Jasmine, that was WRONG. I will spread this to all my friends and family that I referred and leave AAA.
Lately I want to say the staff are friendly and also helpful, but the leadership, management and company are NOT.

I am very disheartened to hear that my AAA insurance agent since college, Jasmine Fu, has been wrongfully terminated. The action of letting go someone as resourceful and knowledgeable as Jasmine, who helped many customers, like myself, navigate the confusing subject matter known as insurance, makes it look like an attack toward me, my family, as well as the larger Chinese and Chinese American communities here in SF. I am greatly disappointed by the decision-making by AAA as a company. This simply cries out exclusion and a lack of diversity, which is not a way to conduct business in this day and age.

Jasmin fu was my agent for almost 20 years now she has been of great help and explained everything very clearly. She also responded very quickly and was very efficient with her work. Now that she is not in your company I find it inconvenient since other agents take a long time to respond. How you fired her was not right. I wish she was back in your company and serve us again.
