In April 2022, I experienced water damage in my kitchen. My kitchen, living room and dining room floors had to be replaced. My stove was moved into my garage and the rest of my furniture for those rooms was placed in storage.
I was left to sit in a house with no kitchen, living room or dining room furniture. I was not put in a hotel room until I called.
I have had six adjusters.
The desk that was in my front hallway was damaged. I was told that it got wet where it was stored and was thrown away. My stove was damaged in the move. A shelf in my kitchen was thrown away. This was all done by Puro Clean of Los Angeles. Allstate hired Puro Clean but they will not intercede for me with Puro Clean. They left me to try to get them to repair my stove, replace my desk, etc.
I have given up. I am just biding my time until I can leave Allstate.

This is absolutely the worst insurance agency ever. We had them as an agent on our Allstate homeowners and earthquake policies for 30 years with no claims. In September 2022 we received a notice from Allstate that they were not renewing our policy as of 12/21. Not for anything that didn’t exist for years, such as 30 year fence. I immediately called Larkin agency and they said they would obtain coverage for us and call us in a week. They didn’t call so I followed up still no call back. Then they ghosted us and returned no calls. We got a new agent and they also did not call them back. Now we have all coverage through new agent with State Farm for home, auto and auto. Much better.

We've had Allstate and the same agent for almost 30 yrs. and we're still very satisfied with their first class service and attention; there's no reason for us to go to no one else. We're satisfied and feel secure with them, we recommend them to whom ever wants good quality service and peace of mind.

I wish zero stars were an option. Barbara Larkin and her agents have complete disregard for their clients and are unwilling to help them in complicated situations. Before Barbara purchased this agency from John Morenko I could not say enough wonderful things about the caring and dedicated employees. Now, when my family encountered a problem with a claim (Allstates error) they did nothing to help, gave lip service and that was it. One of Barbara's family members (or coincidently the same last name) set an appointment between the corporations, client, and bank, and was no call no show. When she was sent an email expressing disappointment in the handing of it, she never responded. I expect to receive support from my agents, we have been clients of this agency for over 40 years, and we cannot even get a return phone call. I am in the process of having my policies moved to another agent. If Barbara Larkin is even a real human being, she is a hands off business owner who cares nothing for the clients who pay her employees salaries.

I have been with this office since 1997 or so, before Barbara Larkin took it over from the agent who retired. I don’t even live in La Verne or LA County. It doesn’t matter. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I use this branch for everything, now including recreational vehicles. Recently had headaches insuring my toys but Sherilyn could not have handled it any better. I would highly recommend this office.
