Edward and Alex are the BEST! I switched to them two years ago. Ed is highly experienced and knowledgeable. Alex, Ed's Assistant is wonderful. LFS has been doing my family, my sister's family, and our Dad's taxes for years, always with professionalism and fairness. When it was time to sell Dad's house, Lisa Lindgren stepped in and not only guided us as a seller, but also kept Dad's tax situation and the complexity of a Trust sell in mind. Lisa went above and beyond by helping us get the remaining items out of the house, being there to facilitate pick ups when we were not available. In addition, Lisa handled a less than ideal product in stride as a lot of the property's maintenance had been deferred for quite a while. If I could give a negative rating I would.
Ed has done my families taxes since he began. Having said this my father and my aunt named him as trustee. i have known him since I was approximately 12 years old. Since my aunt's passing, I have been repeatedly verbally abused, and lied to. I was 90% beneficiary, he told me he didn't want to give me the keys to the property because he didn't know if I would steal things. When I explicitly asked for furnishings, he got rid of them. He sold property without even notifying me. Prior to my father's death, he got rid of furnishings. In storing property, he damaged original paintings. When asked about the furnishings and the damaged paintings, there was no response. In order to receive annual accounting, which is his responsibility as trustee, I had to retail legal counsel. After retaining counsel, I found out that there were documents that he was supposed to be giving me for my taxes, which he only did after my retaining counsel. After finally receiving accounting, there are gross discrepancies.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN.

Have had some Tax issues coming from Ohio to Cali, Ed has helped out a bunch. From amending returns to completing everything. I'd recommend. Just had to amend an Ohio return the fee was $210. My gf's 2021 needed amended due to taxes being differing in Cali. I think the fee was around the same.
