Our Persian cat had severely matted fur, but we received grooming services here that are not offered anywhere else. Every staff member was incredibly kind, and the doctors provided detailed explanations. There is even a separate room for consultations, which made the experience very calming and this place is so clean and cozy.My dog and cat currently visit other clinics, but I will soon be transferring them to this place. The people at Felton are incredibly warm-hearted.

We recently traveled from NC to CA with our Australian Shepherd, Macs. Once here, Macs became acutely ill. Based upon a recommendation from the owner of a Mastiff named Teddy, we went to see Felton Veterinary Hospital for help. Dr. Cathy Calvert provided us with prompt, professional, and extremely compassionate care throughout this journey. She was always available to answer questions and provide support during the period of time that we were providing palliative care. Eventually, we lost our dear companion of 13 years. Macs provided unwavering, unconditional love to our family. Unquestionably, the care we received at Felton Veterinary eclipses any other veterinary services we have received in those 13 years. We highly recommend Felton Veterinary Hospital. They understand how important our pets are to us and it shows!

We are dissatisfied. $1500. Worth of tests and visits and when we really needed a treatment plan they told us to go to the emergency vet. We did. And if you want great care go to emergency. They saved our pet with fast treatment and a plan that is successful. Felton vet just blow smoke and do nothing. This was their 2nd chance. Done

Dr. Atton, Dr. Sugar, Dr. Condreay, Dr. Calvert, Dr. Kaspar, Christa, Haley, Nancy, Justina, Marie; we've had the pleasure of knowing them and having them care for our pets for the past three years. We had an 11-year-old English Mastiff named Odin, and a 13-year-old German Shepherd named Roscoe whom they saw frequently, as well as our two kitties, Mochi and Cappie, who are still patients there. In the three years we have been taking our pets there we've seen each vet who works there and know that whomever we see our pets will be in loving hands. When our German Shepherd was diagnosed with pancreatitis, Dr. Calvert called us and walked us through his treatment multiple times and was so patient with all of our questions and concerns. When it was ultimately time for him to humanely pass Dr. Kaspar and Haley came to our home (which was an exception they granted us) and his passing was incredibly peaceful in the yard and grass, his favorite place to be. Prior to him developing pancreatitis, he had been seen by many of the vets there for the past few years and always treated with love and care.
Dr. Atton was Odin's vet and a favorite among the staff. He received laser therapy and acupuncture treatments every two weeks for his arthritis. He would trot in with his pink elephant and make everyone's day. I have taken my Mastiff to many vets in his lifetime, but none I felt really knew and understood how to care well for his giant breed and not try to price gouge us, but Felton Vet was contrary to that. I finally felt like we had found a vet that had his best interest at heart and wasn't interested in upselling us. Dr. Atton patiently explained every ailment he faced (which was many due to his age and size) and treated him well.
Both of our cats have had surgery here before as well. Mochi had a hernia repaired from a spay gone wrong (not from Felton Vet but from before she came into our family) and Cappie has had emergency surgery from swallowing two feet of ribbon. Most recently Mochi spent a few nights at Felton Vet after ingesting a poisonous plant. During each instance I felt that their care team devoted so much time and attention to them to ensure the absolute best quality care.
From Nancy, Marie and Justina at reception to Christa, Haley (and the many other vet techs and receptionists I am missing listing here), to every vet they have working at Felton Vet, your beloved pet will be in loving hands who truly care about their well-being. Take your pets here, you won't regret it.

I brought my 9 year old corgi mix to get a regular check-up and dental cleaning/extractions. Staff is very fun and nice. Dr. Kathy Kalvert who did the dental work was amazing!

I recently had an outstanding experience at Felton Veterinary Hospital when my beloved dog encountered a foot injury. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s promptness and compassionate approach stood out, ensuring we felt welcomed and attended to without delay. The team here is genuinely friendly and exudes a level of care and affection that is both rare and heartwarming.

What truly set Felton Veterinary Hospital apart for me was their exceptional treatment of my giant pitbull. Instead of succumbing to common stereotypes and prejudices against his breed, they embraced him for the gentle giant he truly is. This was a refreshing change from other experiences where immediate muzzling was deemed necessary without giving him a chance. At Felton, he was able to comfortably interact, sharing his love and playful hugs and kisses with the staff and even a kitty, which speaks volumes about the environment they’ve cultivated here.

Moreover, the professional integrity of the hospital was evident through their transparent and ethical approach to treatment. There was no attempt at upselling or unnecessary medicating, and the services were priced reasonably, making it clear that the well-being of their furry patients is their top priority.

Thanks to the respectful and kind treatment he received, my dog remained calm and stress-free throughout our visit, making our experience genuinely fantastic. The Felton Veterinary Hospital has not only provided wonderful service but has also fostered a space where pets and their owners can feel safe and understood. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, professional, and ethical veterinary care. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful situation a remarkably positive one.

Our dog got bit while camping in the area. They took him in right away, cleaned him up good as new, some antibiotics, and we were on our way. Very friendly professional staff, knowledgeable veterinarian, well-run Hospital. Fairly priced, professional business. If we lived out that way, this would be our new Veterinary hospital. Nice work guys!
