I don't want to say that they are crooks, but I spent thousands last year to become a partner and was supposed to get everything they ever published. Whitney is more than a decade younger than me so I reasonably expected they would be publishing long after I'm dead. Instead, a year later they're gone, sold out to someone with a less than stellar reputation or performance that I wouldn't have spent a dime on. And the phone number on Empire's site Web transfers my call to someone else that just rings once and goes dead. Go figure. Here's hoping for a class action to come along!

After looking the service over, I decided it was not for me. They did nothing wrong, but it isn't a good fit for my goals and interests. I called Customer service and spoke with Michelle about my decision to cancel. She was kind and courteous. She respected my decision and did not attempt to dissuade me. She also did not attempt to upsell me. I was very impressed with her warm, respectful, professional manner. My refund appeared promptly in my account as she said it would.

I got the service because I was impressed by Mr. Tilson's presentation. Was not able to follow closely week after week as "life got in the way" and did not use the service. I was not expecting a "Renewal" for an annual amount. When the amount was taken from my credit-card I wasn't even aware of what it was. Then I 'googled" 'Empire Financial'. It became clear that it was one of those that if you did not cancel it is automatically be renewed. I immediately called and was treated with respect and understanding and the money was returned. Why five stars? I cannot give four and a half. Thanks

I was having trouble accessing certain articles and she walked me through step-by-step how to retrieve the articles I was looking for. Spoke with Hassan a few days ago calling to cancel for a different publisher and he was nice and patient with me even though my age often causes me to make mistakes with subscription services like this. I don't know if Whiteney Tilson is any good but his customer service people are great!
