Very good Bank. Proud to be able to speak mandarin and benefit from doing business with Chinese companies in south Cal. Empolyers here are enthusiastic and kind. The did really quick job on helping open a checking account. For those who gave 1 star, try to be here again. I believe they are not fully prepared for business a year ago. But for, I can make sure they are. You can expect to receive very professional bank service here.

I was considering opening an account there so it is easier to wire money from China to the States. The girl at the desk was super nice and friendly, even though they couldn't open an account for me as I have a non-California ID. I mean I'm not happy with it but I get that it's the company policy. What really annoyed me was when the girl confirmed with a guy sitting across from her before turning me down. The guy walked over and said no, absolutely not and suggested me to change to a CA ID. I was hesitant and said I don't have time to waste standing in line at the DMV, what he said next was so condescending and arrogant" well, you need to at least go try, don't just think before you even try something and I know it's not bad, the last time it only took me 5 minutes to get my ID. Why do you just assume something before even going in to try it."(It was all in Chinese and trust me it was not pleasant especially with his tone like he was talking to a 5 year old). Well, anyone who has lived in LA knows there is NO DMV that can get you in and out in 5 minutes, you be lucky if you can get out of there in 5 hours! I've lived there for 8 years before moving away and dealt with them plenty, I don't need some arrogant punk to stand there and talking to me like I am stupid. Too bad I didn't get his name, i was so annoyed with his attitude and just left, I didn't know ICBC offers customers life lessons when they don't let you open an account!?!?

I started to open all my accounts at this location's and the one I dealt with was always Jason Wang, VP..Everything was great and no headache as American's and Japanese banks I had in the past 2 decades longstanding..After more than 1 years-long, he showed his Ugliest & Truest face's NOT MUCH different from those of American's & Japanese banks..He started to twisted & turned the LIE'S to the point's that I just left this branch without looking back with no regrets whatsoever..I made a formal grievances to Michelle Chuang-Regional managers of Southern CA, but I decided to drop because if I pursue furthermore, bet ya he definitely would be as "eunuchs" in the olden times without any kids to carry his surname's..What a shamefulness for a VP of a small tiny branch carry the name of BEST WELL-KNOWN Banks in the world's to have such loathes attitudes and horrible treatments to customer's as myself..Additionally, I asked to cashed out 200 ?from my account; the lady's cashier just gave me the cash without receipt..I told her I wanted my receipt..She told me to wait in line for more than 20 minutes for the receipt's and there was only 1 customer ahead of myself on that day..Speechless..?..I am wondering what would the Headquarters in Beijing/ China felt if they learned that their ICBC bank's branches in NA had ruined their reputations and smearing China's characteristics as same as those of American's & Japanese banks that I had dealt with and prefer not to go back without any regretting whatsoever..Period..

Just opening an account in here, Jason was very helpful, the bank is very clean and net, their staff are very polite. I highly recommend this bank
